Lola Adewuya, the visionary founder behind The Brand Doula, contacted me to join forces as she prepared to embark on a transformative journey for the next phase of The Brand Doula's personalized services.

Brand experiences, by design. The Brand Doula introduces experience-focused strategy and design to businesses in order to establish brand recognition, industry leadership, and impact. Its team of strategists, designers, and creative minds is focused on creating thoughtful and fresh experiences that propel visionary ideas forward.

I pioneered a distinctive brand archetype for the studio, identifying the team as architects of a brighter future working with founders set on scaling game-changing ideas. This positioning encapsulates collaboration with women driving the next generation of modern, value-driven businesses.

The brand voice I crafted for The Brand Doula is as fresh, thoughtful, self-assured, and authentic as Lola herself. It was essential to ensure that clients and partners felt valued, enthusiastic, and supported at every interaction, be it on the website or in one-on-one workflow processes.

The studio's communication is built upon 4 core pillars: Approach, Offering, Purpose, and Audience. For each pillar, I pinpointed messaging topics, frameworks, and ensuing actions. This holistic approach provided the studio team with a comprehensive guide to their brand messaging system.

In this new chapter for The Brand Doula, our focus was on supporting trailblazing founders with innovative startups. These founders require top-tier brand development to propel them toward industry leadership. We aimed to create a personal connection with clients. Our goal was to have clients perceive the studio experience as a voyage of professional growth and fulfillment, moving beyond a mere outcome-focused, "fast food" agency approach.

Through intensive discovery sessions, we established key components: mission, service design, and a robust audience profile. The brand persona I crafted embodies rebellion and strategy, positioning The Brand Doula as a hub of top creatives pushing boundaries for smarter business approaches.

Lola and I collaborated closely to strategize the content structure, design, and copy for the revamped site. Our aim was to create an immersive, user-friendly, and highly informative user experience. As visitors explored the pages, we wanted them to find answers to their questions exactly when they needed them. Our priority was for site users to feel acknowledged rather than aggressively sold to.

For the web copy, I focused on concise language and eliminated unnecessary verbosity. My primary objective was to convey the benefits and outcomes of offerings rather than getting caught up in excessive features. I seamlessly integrated the new brand voice into headlines and body copy, showcasing the distinct personality we crafted through this brand refresh.
