Olivia Lu, the brains behind The Night In, reached out to me for a cool project. After a successful soft launch of her new low ABV wine cocktail, she was all set to take her business to a bigger crowd of homebodies and couch cuddlers. She wanted us to team up and give her brand a fresh look as well as spruce up tone and copy.

Redefine your night in ritual. Introducing a low ABV wine cocktail for your party pajama pants.

Through collaboration with Olivia, we delved into the core of her brand, which provided me with a foundation to craft a consistent voice across all written content.

My strategy was to thoroughly understand The Night In's audience. This particular crowd isn't your typical ready-to-drink beverage consumers. They're a discerning group in their thirties, leaning towards cozy nights in rather than the bar scene. They value the authentic taste of high-quality drinks.

My approach involved deep audience understanding, followed by shaping the language to harmonize perfectly with their sensibilities.

Picture The Night In's voice akin to its cocktails – a dash of playfulness, a pinch of informality, and a hint of effervescence, all underpinned by a sense of elegance. The language is precise, with every word serving a deliberate purpose, allowing for creative exploration. It sets a tone that offers the same warmth and comfort as one's home environment.

When it came to revamping the website, our mission was clear: craft a captivating, profitable user experience for Night In customers. I teamed up with the founder, designer, and developer to map out content structure, wireframes, copy focal points, and subsequent interactions on the site.

With the website copy, I wove a connection between customers and the products through relatable storytelling, clever exchanges, and vivid language that lured them in out of sheer enjoyment and curiosity.

The new website is bursting with colors, full of life, and an absolute blast to explore. We've sprinkled in cute touches like animated text, hand-drawn graphics, and conversational copy moments. The digital journey mirrors the real Night In experience at home. Cheers!
